1. Knights from the orders may appear in lords' armies, unique spawns, or within the parties of companion lords. You may encounter small bands of knights even if they do not have a chapter in Pendor. This can be useful when deciding whether or not to upgrade an order, since all knights, including those in NPC parties are upgraded. Note that the leader of a faction may create any of the knighthood orders during the game.

Combat Skills

This table presents the base combat skills of every knighthood order. Only relevant skills are displayed, and a '-' indicates that the skill is not applicable. For example, the riding skill is not applicable to any knight who is always on foot, and the 2-handed skill is not applicable to anyone who can only spawn with 1-handed weapons.

1. These units may also have thrown weapons. Lady Valkyries also have 7 Power Throw, 350 in throwing; Lady Einherjars have 6 Power Throw and 250 in throwing. Order of the Shadow Legion have 9 Power Throw, 500 in throwing; Shadow Legion Marini have 5 Power Throw and 270 in throwing. Empire Immortals have 8 Power Throw, 420 in throwing; Empire Mortals have 7 Power Throw and 310 in throwing. Phoenix Risen have 6 Power Throw and 300 in throwing. Scorpion Assassins have 9 Power Throw, 500 in throwing.
2. These units may also have bows. D'Shar Windriders have 8 Power Draw, 350 in archery. Order of the Clarion call have 7 Power Draw, 400 in archery; Larian Outriders have 6 Power Draw, 290 in archery. Order of the Silvermist Rangers have 7 Power Draw, 450 in archery. Eventide Ghilmen have 6 Power Draw, 260 in archery.
3. Order of the Ebony Gauntlet also use crossbows with 400 proficiency. Talons of the Falcon and Radiant Cross Plaguewardens use crossbows with 260 proficiency.
