This is a cavalry lance, but blunt. This makes it excellent for taking prisoners, and is especially effective when given to cavalry in one's Custom Knighthood Order. Combined with perhaps a Military Hammer, shield, and Battle Hammer, you can muster an entire army of blunt-weapon-wielding slavecatchers. The reach of this weapon is greater than a normal Lance, but still below the better Cavalry and Knight Lances. It's also by far the slowest lance out of all of them - frankly, it's possibly the slowest weapon in the game and really only good for the initial charge.
This item is not used normally outside of Tournaments, and few regular soldiers use this weapon. Though it is available to equip to a CKO - at a higher cost than many other lances, as well - it is extremely hard to find in merchant shops. Coming across a Deserter party of one of the below units is probably the most secure way of locating one or two for yourself and your party.
