Empire Levy Skirmisher

Having gained some experience, Empire Levy Hunters are promoted to this rank and given the Crossbow to use in battle. Their armor still consists mainly of light and padded leather and they still use the arming sword for melee combat, although they now pack board shield into battle. They can take out most low level opponents with their ranged skills but are not yet proficient enough to engage against mid-level foes. To help these crossbowmen reach their full potential, they should be upgraded further to maximize their effectiveness in battle. They are upgraded from Empire Levy Hunter and upgrade to Empire Crossbowman.
