Body armour consisting of plates of soft iron, steel and leather. Used by heavy mid-tier Empire troops including the Empire Heavy Infantry, Empire Pikeman and the Empire Horseman.
Sadly, while the Segmentata looks good it is not the best armour for the player (except perhaps for the early game). Some builds would benefit from it, but a good batch of options yield better starting armour and it's not so common a sight in shops that a player would get it before something stronger. Its best use would be for equipping low-level Companions that aren't strong enough for higher-level gear.
