All right, all right, all listen up! All you; hear and fill your cup

About oh poor Sir Aranor Alight a knight; now crawling on all four!

At the king's behest he crawls All around proud AvendorAfter on his knees he falls Aghast! His pride will be no more!

Abused he has his order's might! And brought upon himself this plight All we are allowed to stare At this knight with foot all bare

All you've trembled at this sight Aflame he set your hay And thus I'll say that for this knight All mercy 's for another day.

Aww, poor Sir Aranor; they jeer All crawling 'round the wall And all the while the people cheer At the knight; no longer tall

At last they see these things well set Astraea made it so! A better judge they'll never get All hail, King Mordred, ho!

Origins

For their rash and selfish actions during the expedition to Veccavia, Sir Aranor, Grandmaster of the Order of the Dawn and Lord Commander Colm Stoutheart, Grandmaster of the Order of the Ebony Gauntlet, were forced by King Mordred Adalhard to bear humbling and humiliating punishments upon their shoulders, punishments that would forever tarnish their names. Whereas Colm Stoutheart's punishment was a far more humbling experience, Sir Aranor was forced to bear shame and humiliation unbefitting of a Dawn Knight, let alone a Grandmaster. Commanded to return to Avendor and, striping down to only his breeches, was forced to crawl the full length of Avendor's walls, forbidden to wash off the dirt or break his fast for three days, so that he may come to appreciate that he is but a man, albeit a powerful one, subject to the will of the man who reunited the lands of Pendor.

It is rumoured, though not confirmed, that this poem was not the work of a common man or woman, or even an alcohol fuelled sing-a-long in a jovial tavern. Rather it was a malicious and humiliating jibe at the Order of the Dawnitself created by none other than Azlanek of Tantal, Grandmaster of the Order of Eventide, in order to besmirch the name of his most hated rival.
